With over 150 in attendance surpassing expectations, the event illuminated the critical role local businesses play in the economic fabric of Daegu, fostering an environment ripe for innovation and growth.  Hosted by COL Rodgers, the 411th Contracting Support Brigade Commander and LTC. "Lu" Moody, the 906th Battalion Commander.

Moreover, the event's success is a testament to the AUSA Korea Chapter's commitment to local and USFK partenering. By providing a platform for dialogue and discovery, the Daegu Industry Day has paved the way for local entrepreneurs to broaden their horizons and embrace new opportunities that come with connecting to a global entity like USFK.

Lessons learned from FS23 & FS24 regarding capability gaps ISO NEO, RSOI and CBRN that may require contractual support. A deliberate platform focused on specific requirements (supplies and services) that provide our local vendors an opportunity for “Show & Tell”; likewise, an opportunity and awareness for our Supported Commanders and subordinate units on available resources to further analyze capability gaps and possible solutions / COAs.

Participants left with a better understanding of the procurement needs and how to tailor their offerings to meet the stringent requirements of USFK contracts.
